基本问法：

回答思路：
思路1：说一个真实的缺点，而这个缺点并不是影响你学业/事业成功的关键。例如，如果你不特别擅长进行小组演讲，这并不影响你成为一名优秀的研发人员。比如你性格较内向，或者说是一个慢热型的人，甚至本质是都算不上一个缺点，并不会妨碍你做科研。
思路2：将缺点转化为优点。例如，完成项目的紧迫感可以转化为积极的特质；比如，你非常注重确保项目按时完成。或者，你对细节过度关注，你会再三检查文件上的每一个字，并对你发送的每一封电子邮件进行两次校对。
思路3：说一项有待提升的“能力”，通过学习和练习，这样的“缺点”可以完全得到弥补。

1.没有很大影响的真实缺点
I used to wait until the last minute to set appointments for the coming week， but I realized that scheduling in advance makes much more sense. I'm now much more proactive about scheduling meetings， and this allows me to plan and segment out my work for the week without having to guess at when I'll need to leave time for meetings. 我过去常常等到最后一刻才为下周安排任务，但我意识到提前安排时间更合理。我现在在安排会议方面更加积极主动了，这样我可以提前计划一周的工作，而不必猜测什么时候需要留出时间开会。

In the past， I found this leading me to triple-check every item on a spreadsheet， closely proofread emails to ensure I'd communicated what I was trying to get across in a clear， concise way， or fiddle with the layout of a presentation to ensure that it was perfect.
