吴敏兰，美国哈佛大学双语教育硕士，作家，现任凯斯教学机构执行长（CEO）。致力于推广英语绘本阅读，在台湾《亲子天下宝宝专刊》、《未来儿童》、《小行星幼儿志》等杂志开设专栏，先后在台湾与大陆出版了《轻松培养孩子的英语好感度》《绘本123,用五感玩出宝宝的英语好感度》《看漫画Fun英语》《双语齐下》《英文绘本创意教学1-3》《康轩幼儿英语教材Lollipop1-6》《Sing&Play唱唱跳跳学英文1-4》等著作，希望透过阅读让孩子建立英语力与世界观。
吴敏兰的方法论
她独创的五感理论，让孩子们从「触觉型、视觉型、听觉型、嗅觉型、味觉型」五个维度感受体验，爱上英语。

2、最初的英语启蒙不是学习而是边听边玩，笑得停不下来
3、五感，英语启蒙源于生活体验，世界太有趣了！
吴敏兰认为，对孩子而言，英语最重要的不是学，而是启蒙，吴敏兰的观念就是透过一边读一边玩的过程，让家长每天花20分钟读绘本给孩子听，让孩子觉得学习英文是件有趣的事，因此在她的书中，推荐了许多适合不同年纪孩子的英文绘本，针对每本书不但有简单的内容介绍，并且还会说明一些在朗读上的技巧，如何吸引孩子的注意力，以及在读完绘本后，可以带孩子一起进行的一些小游戏。
