我始终相信榜样的力量，并且把德国哲学家雅斯贝尔斯在《什么是教育》中关于教育的本质描述“一棵树摇动另一棵树，一朵云推动另一朵云，一个灵魂唤醒另一个灵魂”奉为教育的至理名言。因此，当我准备引导学生开始学习英语的时候，我就深深明白：我一定要学地比她更加刻苦，让她明白学习的目的就是学习本身，而学习本身是一件极其快乐的事情。虽然我最终没有达到目的，我女儿现在读大学二年级了，她也不把学习看作是一件快乐的事情。
但是我没有骗她，我从来都没有觉得学习有多么辛苦。
只不过，年少时，除了学习，还有很多更加重要的事情要去完成。比如，恋爱、工作、成家。现在不同了，现在我可以更加自由地在工作之余享受学习和思考的快乐了。

为了增强我学习过程中的快感，我在2008年4月26日决定，把这种快乐的过程用文字的形式记录下来。

till today we have recovered. when we went home this afternoon, we picked up the textbook again. without any surprise, my daughter finished her task very quickly. she just remembered those five sentences.
直至今天，我们的情感才终于恢复了。下午我们回到家后，很快就拿出英语教材学习。毫无悬念，我女儿很快就完成了学习任务，她记住了下面五个句子。

lily and linda are classmates.
莉莉和琳达是同班同学。
lily often walks to school with her classmate.
莉莉常常和她同学一起走路去上学。
my cousins are my uncle`s children.
我的堂兄弟姐妹是我叔叔的孩子。
jennifer and joe are my cousins.
詹妮弗和乔是我的堂兄妹。
my uncle has a car.
我叔叔有辆小汽车。

it is known to all that china has had a heavy earthquake recently. all our heart has been driven to a big sorrow.
众所周知，近来中国发生了一场强烈的地震。我们都沉浸在巨大的悲痛当中。

caring about this event.
因此，我也不能独自保持心情的平静。每天也要花费大量时间关注这件事情。

one week passes too quickly. i have just covered two lessons. in fact, i have thought over about the life and death. i also shared my idea with my wife just before this big disaster.
一周时间很快就过去了。我仅仅才学习完两课。事实上，我曾深度思过生与死的问题。就在这场大灾难发生之前，我还刚刚和爱人分享过我的观点呢。
in fact, we cannot tell when we will die nowadays. but we can guess who will feel sorrow when we die. all of these who care much about themselves will be in great sorrow.
事实上，今天的我们还做不到预知自己的死期。不过，我们大概能猜到死后哪些人会感到伤心。所有特别关心我们的人都将会感到悲痛。

because they have put a great hope on our life. maybe they hope us to carry honor or wealth on a big help to them when they are in a great difficulties.
因为他们对我们的生活寄予了厚望。也许他们希望当他们遇到困难时，我们能够在信誉或者财物上帮他们一把。
so when we still are alive. we should try our great effort to help and care those who really care about

us. my opinion is that we should try our best to let them be independent，not only in substance but also in spirits.
因此，当我们还活着的时候，就应当竭尽所能地帮那些真正关心我们的人一把。我的观点是应该尽力让他们学会独立，无论是在物质上还是在精神上。
being independent is very important for us. we can‘t rely on anyone. for no one can tell you when a big disaster will come.
对我们来说，独立相当重要。我们不能依靠任何人，因为没人能告诉我们，何时灾难会来临。
the one only we can depend on is ourselves. so we should treasure our life. we should learn to be strong as soon as possible.
我们唯一能依靠的就是我们自己。因此，我们应当珍惜生命。我们应当尽可能地学会如何变得坚强起来。
