fishing is my favourite sport. i often fish for hours without catching anything.
垂钓是我最喜爱的运动。我常常一钓几个小时却一无所获。
but this does not worry me. some fishermen are unhappy. instead of catching fish, they catch old boots and rubbish. i am even less lucky. i never catch a
nything, not even old boots.
但我并不忧虑。一些渔民很不高兴。他们钓不到鱼，反而钓上来一些旧靴子和废物。我就更意外运了。我啥也没钓到，连旧靴子也没钓到。
after having spent whole mornings on the river, i always go home with empty bag.
在河滨渡过整个上午之后，我老是空着袋子回家。
“you must give up fishing!” my friends say. “it’s a waste of time.”
“你有必要扔掉垂钓！”我兄弟说。“你这是在浪费时刻。”
but they don’t realize one important thing. i’m not really interested in fishing. i am only interested in sitting in a boat and doing nothing at all!
