如何典雅地用英语描述东西“太贵了”

一般咱们说一件东西太贵了，常用的就是it is too expensive,可是在英语中，还有许多描述“太贵了”的办法，今日就来叫我们典雅地表达：

1、sth costs a fortune /bomb /bundle

fortune、bomb 或 bundle 都指

一大笔钱或巨款

The wedding reception cost a fortune.

婚礼宴会花了一大笔钱。

2、exclusive

exclusive 偏重独家；指 价格名贵且高档的，仅少量人买的起或用的起的：

exclusive clothes ( 高档服装 )

upscale/upmarket brand ( 高档品牌 )

It's an exclusive neighborhood; there lives a lot of celebrites.

这带居民区花费很高端，住着许多名人。

3、luxurious 价格名贵且舒畅奢华的

They stayed in a luxurious hotel.

他们入住了一间奢华的酒店。

4、posh 价格名贵且时髦的

One needs to have a posh shop to attract the customers.

要招引顾客就有必要有一个时髦秀丽的铺子。

5、overpriced/be highway robbery

价格太名贵，贵得夸大、离谱或不合理的

I had an overpriced cup of coffee in the cafeteria.

我在自助餐厅喝了一杯价格名贵的咖啡。

This store is highway robbery.

这店卖的东西贵得离谱！

6、sth is priced out of the market

某样东西价格太名贵，致使乏人问津

The Beauty parlor priced itself out of the market By charging so much.

那美容店自个定价过高，致使无人问津。

7、It’ll cost you./Something costs a lot./Something doesn’t come

cheap.

某样东西对某方而言会很贵。

This speaker is good,but it’ll cost you.

这个音箱不错，但很贵。
