biological diversity, numerous hot springs and clear seawater. Most of its beaches are ideal places for swimming and sunbathing almost all year round. As a result, Hainan Island is credited as China’s four-season garden and holiday resort, which attracts a large number of tourists from home and abroad every year.

Since Hainan was established as a province in 1988, tourism, service industry and high-tech industry have developed rapidly, which makes it the only provincial-level special economic zone in China. With the strong support of the central government and the whole nation, Hainan will be built into China’s largest pilot free trade zone.
