雅思口语人物类话题会让大家描写“对社会有贡献的人”，“有着重要工作的人”，备考雅思的同学首先想到的是那些名流，比如马云先生啦，袁隆平教授啦，或者会想到一些有着崇高工作的人，例如医生啦，教师啦，消防员啦，不过很少有人会想到的是housewife是不是。这个unpaidand thankless job，可以说是the hardest job in the world了!还记得DesperateHousewives有一句口号么：Never underestimate a housewife. (暴露年龄贴……)

I would like to talk about my mother. She used to be a public servant butnow she is a full-time homemaker.

Some people would argue, “That’s not a job!” But I believe, that’s the mostimportant job in the whole wide world. They are called “homemaker” for a reason.I know they are not breadwinners, but they are the ones who make a house ahome!

And I think the most awesome part is, she already took the wholeresponsibility of a housewife when she was still a working mom.

My dad always takes business trips, so he’s away all the time. My mom hasto take care of the whole family, which includes 2 daughters, my grandma and acat. Sometimes she has to be the mom and the dad. She’s really a multi-taskerwho can wear several hats at the same time. If something doesn’t work, not aproblem at all. She can fix everything, she can be a plumber, a handyman, a vet,and most importantly, she can be a teacher.

We learned so much from her, like time management, sharing good stuff withothers, independence and things like that. So basically, she makes me who I amtoday.

Housewives are always underestimated, and they are doing an unpaid andthankless job, but they spend the most time with their children during theirformative years, they’ll have a lasting influence on the younger generation, whohappen to be the future of our society. So I guess that’s why I think housewivesare important.

这个答案是不是还可以变成a person who’s older than you that youadmire?嗯，那样的话，最后一段就可以变成夸妈妈，例如：

I really think my mom has done a great job as every role she has everplayed.

夸自己的妈妈，不难吧!开动吧!
