雅思考官似乎越来越在乎大家的生活过得幸福与否,不然怎么总问我们“interesting neighbour, interesting apartment, someone made you laugh, a group of people are laughing, interesting foreigner”之类的问题,相信很多同学遇到这些问题都苦不堪言。

P2 Describe a kind of plant or flower in your country(新题)

You should say:

What is it

Where does it grow

Do you like it or not

P2 Describe a newly-opened shop

You should say:

where it is

what you usually buy there

when you went there last time

and explain how you feel about the shop

P2 Describe an English lesson that you have taken (新题)

You should say:

When it was

What it is

And how you felt about this class

P2 Describe a statue or work of art

You should say:

How does it look like

Where did you see it

And how do you feel about this work

笔者发现我们的同学或是受了前面的” interesting neighbour, interesting apartment, someone made you laugh, a group of people are laughin”等话题的影响,亦或是都很善良,怀着一颗美好的心。 以“Describe an English lesson that you have taken”一题为例。 大部分的同学都会描述“When I was in my primary school, I didn’t like English. Because the teacher was not good and she was so strict. But one day, I took part in an English class. I changed my mind. The teacher was so funny and humoroius. She told us a lot jokes and we played some games. I fell in love with the class and since then on I love English.” 每每课堂上启发到此处“Have you ever experienced bad teachers?”(话题teacher里的问题),大家总是有说不完的抱怨和经历,那为什么不用在这里呢,答案有可能就变成这样了“when I was in my primary , I didn’t like English, because I thought it was too hard for me to learn . But mom told me in my middle school the teacher would teach us Englsih in a systematical way and then as long as I listened carefully in class I could manage it. I remembered it well. On the day of my first English class in my middle school, I felt those were lies. The teacher supposed us all learn the ABC about Englsih and she talked so fast in class and skip many places which were so confusing to me in order to save us more

time to do the exercises. After she checked the answers and I did many questions wrong. 45minutes later, the first English was over. I felt even worse. Guess what I was forced to join after school classes to improve my English.Luckily, I met a good teacher there. So I think learning a language is more than just doing some exercises, tests or grammars. The teacher should make the class interesting and the language useful.”

比如回答P1的问题“Do you use mirror before buying a piece of clothes?” Yes, I need to check whether the clothes fit me or not.”但是好像这样就结束了,可是如果我们在这里再加入“Yes, I need to check whether the clothes fit me or not. I remember once I bought a pair of trouses home in a hurry. I mean I didn’t try them on and when I got home and tried them on in front of mirror. It looked terrible on me, since then on I would look into the mirror before buying any clothes.”
