其实，两种说法都可以运用，取决于你说英语时在哪。
· AT the weekend / AT weekends
常用在英式英语中
· ON the weekend / ON weekends
常用在美式英语中
留心：习气上，咱们一般不说in the weekend或in weekends。
例：
What do you usually do at he weekend?——British English
你周末一般做啥呀？（英式英语）
I binge-watched the whole series of Skate Into Love 
on the weekend.——American English
我周末追完了一整部《冰糖炖雪梨》。（美式英语）
at/on the weekend既可以标明某个特定的周末，也可以标明多个周末；但假定weekend用了复数，即at/on weekends，则指多个周末。
例：
We usually do our shopping at/on weekends.
咱们一般使用周末收购物品。

例：
