考研英语比CET六级水平还要更高，但是比专业八级又略简单一些。不过主要还是看考的哪一门英语，考研英语分为英语1和英语2，英语1的难度比英语2还要高很多，英语2的话略高于六级。

英语词汇量，考研英语词汇量比六级多了两千，难度也有加大，考研英语1有3%的超纲词，也就是一篇文章有六七个词你不
认识。但是如果一个长难句有那么几个不认识的词，就足够头疼了。不过英语2就好一点，没有超纲词，但是难度还是略高于英语六级的。
