你是这样“学并学好”英语的吗？Clock in and clock out以及dock, withhold

为什么我们很多人从小学开始为英语学习辛辛苦苦付出十年八年之后，最后“扔过来”的一句“狠话”却是：坚决不学英语了。甚至打出“打到英语”的口号？

其实，我只想问你：在付出十年八年之后，你的英语终于“学

并学好”了吗？你是按照我下面的方式“学并学好”英语了吗？

1. Dock your pay

Oftentimes, employers ask if they can dock the pay of employees who fail to clock in or out -- or withhold pay entirely that day. They cannot. Employees must be paid for the exact number of hours

they worked, regardless of whether or not they remembered to clock in.

学并学好英语1：Okay.I got you.If an employer refuses to pay his employees the money he owes them,we can say He docks the pay:He refuses to pay.

这就叫做“学并学好”了英语，也充分说明你已经“学并学好”了英语。

学并学好英语2：Okay.I got you.If you dock the pay of your employees,you withhold their pay.So,I got you.To dock the pay is to withhold the pay.To withhold the pay is to dock the pay.

这也叫英语“学并学好”了：在不断的学习学习过程中，让你的英语不断“新学”：从refuse to pay到dock the pay，再到withhold the pay，让你学过的英语不断“复现”：孔夫子称为“温故知新”，现代汉语叫“学以致用”。

而你“问”的是什么，你的英语“学了学过学完”是怎样的？

dock的中文是什么？withhold的中文是什么？

你永远只让英语与其对应的中文“发生联系”，也就是永远(至少十年八年内)只用中文学英语，只用中文“懂”英语，永远不用英语refuse to pay“懂”英语dock“，又永远不用英语dock“懂”英语withhold，我们为什么没有理由发出“让英语滚出中国教室”的怒吼？

2.Clock in and clock out

Oftentimes, employers ask if they can dock the pay of employees who fail to clock in

or out.

学并学好英语1：Okay.I got you.When you clock in,you arrive at work=you punch in.

When you clock out,you stop working,you punch off,you leave work for home.

学并学好英语2.So,when you start working,you clock in,you punch in. When you stop working for the

day,you clock out,you punch out for home.

你永远只会“用”中文“懂”英语：clock in 打卡上班，clock out 打卡下班。永远不会见到英语clock in“想到”、“说出”英语arrive at work,punch in等。见到英语clock out不会“想并说”英语口语stop working,punch off,leave work等等。

你永远只会埋怨学英语“学时没有英语环境，用时也没有英语环境”，却从来没有在十年八年“训练”之后，让自己的英语通过用英语学英语，让学过的英语“复现”，也就是“学以致用”，在用英语学英语过程中创造了“学”与“用”的英语环境。

所以在十年八年之后，在你怒吼“让英语滚蛋”之前，请你“自问：

你学英语或读英语时能做到“想”英语，“说”英语了吗？

能做到这点“学并学好”英语，说明：基本上你的口语、阅读、写作三大英语语言能力都基本解决了。剩下的听力需要单独训练，还有翻译(英译汉，汉译英)。
